Officer shoots colleague and turns gun on self

A LOCAL Police Officer from Betera (Valencia) allegedly shot and killed fellow officer – Enrique Moreno aged 33 – before trying to commit suicide by shooting himself in the jaw in the police posts locker room last week. The accused was taken to Hospital La Fe de Valencia in critical condition.

Both single, they had been good friends for several months until the deceased requested that his shift be changed so as to avoid working with the accused, although the reasons are unknown.
