TWENTY-FIVE of the 26 members of the Partido Andalucista have announced that they are leaving the party. Their decision comes after learning that the regional secretary for the party, Natacha Rivas, will present a candidate for the May municipal elections who is not the person chosen democratically by the local team.
They consider that Gerardo Apontes, the designated candidate, has been named with no sort of voted or support and doesn’t represent the interests of the Partido Andalucista in Benamocarra, especially as he has been negotiating to join other parties without success.
