Free parking posters follow parking ticket scam

THOSE responsible for the Ram Feria at Son Fusteret in Palma have placed posters at the entrance of the fenced parking stating that it is free and that nobody can charge money for its use. This measure came into place after a group of people were asking for €1 from anybody who tried to use the parking lot the weekend before last.

When their scam was discovered fair coordinator Jose Antonio Escobar forced them to leave the premises.

The 40,000 square meter parking space by the football field can accommodate 800 cars and is on municipal land and so is free.
