HTC’s newest Android handset is the Merge. It has a 3.8 inch touchscreen with a slide out QWERTY keyboard, the Android 2.2 ‘Froyo’ operating system (OS) and keeps the Sense User Interface (UI). The 5-megapixel camera comes with a built-in autofocus and flash, and although the megapixels are not all that impressive, the picture quality is said to be excellent.
With integrated access to Flickr, it is possible to post those photos near-instantly. In addition, the lens shoots 720p video.
In addition to the standard Wifi, it boasts GPS and FriendStream, which allows Facebook and Twitter notificiations to be shown in one simple interface.
Keep an eye on the official HTC site for more information and the release date.
