FOR the third consecutive year, Calvia Town Hall is organising the ‘Intercultural Week.’ This consists of various activities organised between several of the island’s international schools, and culminating in a concert at the Sala Palmanova. This year the dates are March 14 to 19.
The Football Tournament got under way this week, and has two further days of matches next week (Tuesday 15 and Thursday 17, which is when the finals take place). All matches will be played at the football pitches alongside the Calvia village sports centre, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
All posters competing in the Painting Competition will be on display at the Sala Palmanova from Thursday March 17.
Wednesday, March 16 sees the very first Debating Competition, at the Sala Palmanova at 6pm.
There will be two exciting debates to decide 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions.
All are welcome, and an ‘aperitivo’ will be served, after the debates.
Finally, Saturday, March 19 is the day of the Concert. Once again, this will be held at the Sala Palmanova at 6pm., and all are welcome.
