GUARDIA CIVIL in Cadiz arrested a Chinese man accused of paying a Ghanaian to do his driving exam for him. The officers learned that a man who had claimed not to speak Spanish was taking the driving test in Jerez de la Frontera. It was also discovered that he had supposedly taken the written test in Cordoba and requested to take the practical part in Jerez.
He had forged documents and paid the man from Ghana to take the written test for him, which he passed.
He was arrested while taking the exam and charged with document forgery and identity theft. An arrest warrant for the other man was issued.
