Spectrum FM Almeria expand their network with 104.3FM

SPECTRUM FM have launched a new transmitter in Almeria South on 104.3FM.

With this new expansion in place listeners will be able to ejoy the New Spectrum FM from Almeria XCity to Cabo De Gata as well as in Roquetas De Mar, El Ejido and from Almerimar to Adra.

This was the final piece required in The Spectrum FM jigsaw that now means they are no areas between Gibraltar and Valencia that are not covered by the largest English language radio station in Spain.

Richard Shanley of Spectrum FM said: ‘I’m really proud of how far we have come in the past two years and this new transmitter is testament to the hard work that everyone involved has put in. It has been a difficult time for businesses in Spain over the past two years but with commitment and sheer hard work it is amazing what you can achieve.

“I am looking forward to presenting The Almeria Happy Hour with Helen B throughout the whole of Almeria and I hope our new listeners love to show as much as everyone listening on 92.6FM do.

“We are already working on new local programming for the weekend and a golf show is almost ready to roll out which will be available on both Costa Almeria frequencies as well as in Costa Calida on 106.3FM. ‘

Spectrum FM certainly do seem to be bucking the local radio trend as other stations come and go, so in this age of financial austerity and difficult business conditions it is certainly a breath of fresh air to see expansion in the Almeria area
