THE Local Police in Dalias (Almeria) have complained that the mayor, Jeronimo Robles, has failed to provide them with new uniforms and is paying overtime at half the rate. The Independent and Civil Servants’ Union, CSI-F Almeria, has brought a formal complaint against the mayor for failing to abide by the Collective Agreement for the Local Police in the town, something which has allegedly been going on for two years.
They are also working 37 and a half hours instead of 35, and the work schedule is being published with only one month in advance, when it should be published at the beginning of the year, meaning they do not know when they can take holidays, as the request has to be processed between 15 days and a month in advance.
