Lions walk the blossom trail

THE Blossom Walk on Sunday February 13 from Jalon TI, organised by the Lions of Jalon and Orba in the Jalon Valley, was a great success. About a hundred people turned up, together with a dozen or so dogs, the weather was perfect and the blossom was spectacular.

Three groups were organised to cater for fast, medium-paced and sauntering walkers and they set off at intervals of two or three minutes.

Shaking of the cans while people were getting ready produced the grand sum of €225 which will go to the Club’s Charity Fund and be spent to help the people of the area.
