Orihuela Costa Focus Groups

The Orihuela Costa Town Hall is looking for volunteers to take part in two separate focus groups with the aim of helping shape the future of the coast. The groups will take place at the Town Hall in Playa Flamenca and are being organised by Louise Clarke, the Coastal Town Hall´s Press Officer.

It is hoped that the first group discussion will take place during the week commencing 28th February. The Town Hall requires at least ten residents for one of the groups and ten business owners, who are based on the Coast, for the other. All that is requested is that the group members be registered on the padron and be living or trading in Orihuela Costa.

During the focus group sessions, attendees will be asked for open and honest feedback on issues to do with the coast, including the provision of services and infrastructure as well as opinions of the local PP government team and suggestions on how they can improve everyday life on the coast.

Business owners will be asked for similar feedback from a commercial perspective, including how the local government can support businesses through the crisis. All feedback and comments will be passed to the Councillor of the Coast, Jose Antonio Aniorte, and in turn to the Mayor of Orihuela, Monica Lorente, with a view to including the main points within the 2011 municipal election manifesto.

For those wishing to take part in the focus group, please contact Louise via e-mail at lclarke@orihuela.es.

Drinks and snacks will be provided during the two hour discussions.
