Gary Moore cause of death unknown

ESTEPONA – Gary Moore’s lifeless body was found in his room at the 5-star Kempinski Hotel Bahia in Estepona on the Costa del Sol early on Sunday morning said Thin Lizzy manager Adam Parsons.

Reports say that his body showed no signs of violence and an autopsy will be carried out to determine the cause of death.

The legendary guitarist only checked into the hotel on Saturday.

A statement on the official Gary Moore website said:

It is with deep sorrow and regret, that we have to announce that Gary Moore passed away while on holiday in Spain last night.

Our thoughts are with his children, family and friends at this sad time.
