THE Nerja Town Hall Foreigners Department has yet again received reports of gas companies knocking on people’s doors to make gas inspections. They try any means to get into the house including the warning that it is compulsory to make the gas revision and if it is not done then there will be problems.
If they are let to do the revision, they tend to charge extremely high prices, the town hall says.
The gas revision does need to be done every five years, but it is up to the person to choose which company will do it and call that company to make an appointment for them to come and do the revision.
In Nerja there are two gas companies with an office; Repsol – orange bottles – in Calle Antonio Millon, Edificio Peñafiel (952524195) and Cepsa – silver bottles – on Calle Ruperto Anduez 13 (952521593).
