The Orihuela electoral campaign committee is announced

The President of the PP party in Orihuela and the current Mayor, Monica Lorente, has announced her electoral campaign committee. The Director of the campaign has been named as Antonio Lidon, the current Councillor for Finance and the Councillor for Culture, Pepa Ferrando has been given the responsibility of Communications and the Media.

Co-ordinator of public events has been named as David Costa, the current Councillor for Personnel and Local Administration.

 

“This is a new era for the PP in Orihuela,” commented Ms Lorente, “This campaign team is young and renewed with committed people who are dedicated to creating a positive electoral programme which will function like a motor generator of employment and opportunities.” 

She added: “We have a great team of people who by impulse, will work hard for the great city and municipality of Orihuela.”

QUALITY

Areas of the campaign have been allocated their own dedicated team of people; with Education, Commerce, Culture, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Health and Sports all highlighted as key concerns for the PP party campaign. There has also been a team of PP supporters allocated to each of Orihuela’s 23 ‘Pedanias’ or hamlets, including Torremendo and Entre Naranjos.

The Mayor concluded: “This is a team of quality, specialist professionals, determined to fight the crisis. The PP is going to win the elections in the Orihuela municipality and we are going to give it our very best effort in order to secure the best results possible.”

The PP party in Orihuela has nearly 7000 affiliates and the electoral campaign team is made up of more than 200 people, all of whom will be actively promoting the PP electoral campaign during the coming months.

The municipal elections take place on Sunday 22nd May.
