LAST year, exports from Almeria Province rose by 13.3 per cent to €1.9 billion. However, it was one of the Andalucian provinces where exports rose the least. In 2010, the best results were seen in Huelva, where exports rose by 63.5 per cent to €3,145m, putting the province 16 points ahead of Cordoba, where it rose 47.1 per cent to €1,430m.
They were followed by Cadiz, up 31.1 per cent to €4,984m; Malaga up 25.1 per cent to €1,231m; Jaen up by 15.7 to €598m, followed by Almeria.
At the bottom of the list were Sevilla, up by 10.9 per cent to €2,938, and Granada, which is the only province where exports fell by 4.5 per cent to €662m.
