A perfectly reasonable and wholly Christian compromise

0

I THINK, in the case of the Christian boarding house owners who denied the gay couple a double bed on their premises, the guilty verdict was nothing short of disgraceful. If ever anyone’s human rights were infringed, these two unfortunate people’s certainly were. Forget the moral and legal rights of the gay marital situation, this is not my point. (Personally I have attended and enjoyed a number of gay weddings).

The point is that these proprietors follow a Christian directive that decrees it is morally wrong for members of the same sex to enter into the institution of marriage. Despite their obviously devout beliefs, they were still prepared to give these two a room in their establishment, provided they used single beds.

That sounds to me like a perfectly reasonable and wholly Christian compromise. To be pilloried, hounded and ultimately fined for their moral and religious values, is a disgusting reflection of the way our leaders are undermining the wishes and leanings of the majority (particularly the followers of Christianity).

Including judges who seem hell bent on supporting minorities, simply because they are in the minority. I think these two men should be ashamed for the ongoing trauma they have subjected these obviously good people to. I hope you both sleep easily in you own, undoubtedly queen size bed.

Had I personally instigated this vindictive witch hunt, I would have extreme difficulty in getting a wink. It did get me thinking however, as to what the outcome would have been had the owners been Muslim objecting on the grounds of the Korans religious teaching?

No points for guessing the outcome of that particular scenario, that’s fer sure. Well ol’ blagger Blair was up again this week. What a slimy individual I believe he is. On and on he ranted; the phrase ‘perfectly clear’ once again issuing from lips that were never in the ‘clear’ for his whole tenure.

To all intents and purposes the Iraq war was instigated by Bush to appease the American public in the wake of 9/11, with Blair subsequently climbing aboard the British equivalent band -wagon. This however was merely a convenient excuse. I believe the true plot between these two arch criminals was to use the situation to take control and divvy up a vulnerable, third world country, rich in oil, minerals and of considerable strategic importance.

Had their scheme been successful, they would have been in the counting house before the echoes of the final guided missile died away. As it was, they sorely underestimated the resolve of the Al Qaeda insurgents, resulting in the deaths and maiming of hundreds of brave men and woman. A situation which continues to this day.

All the ‘perfectly clears’ and hand chopping of Mr Blair will never convince me that he is anything more than a war criminal, who, side by  side with his co conspirators, I think should be facing trial in the same mode as the Nazi monsters of yore.                                          Don’t hold yer breath!

Keep the faith.                                                                                                                                                                                     Love Leapy
