fairsharemusic.com donates money to charity

A new music download website, called fairsharemusic.com and co-founded by Jonny Woolf and Lee Cannon, which donates money to charity every time you buy a track is aiming to tackle the problem of music piracy. It has over 8.5 million tracks for users to buy. They explained their hopes in tackling the piracy problems: “Most of the time people do not think they are doing anything wrong.”

He further iterated that “it won’t happen overnight but we need to educate the younger generation, inspire and motivate them so they understand the effects it has on new artists at the beginning of their careers.” Among those charities are Amnesty International, Great Ormond Street and the British Red Cross.
