Cycling School reach various categories

THE cycling school of Almuñecar has attained good positions in the Provincial Circuit. MORE than 40 walkers from Almuñecar took a hike in El Torcal, Antequera. The coordinator of the Municipal Sports Board, Enrique Garin and guide Francisco Novo took the walkers on an unforgettable walk. Real Madrid lose 4 - 1 to Borussia Dortmund

Only one day after Bayern Munich's 4-0  result against Barcelona the German football again showed its supremacy on Wednesday night. New attraction on the ski slopes

A NEW attraction is available at the Sierra Nevada ski station. The Superparque Sulayr is a six metre high, 165 metre long, half-pipe for freestyle and snowboard experts. According to the resort’s managers it is the largest permanent half-pipe in Spain. It is located at the Loma de Dilar area of the Sierra Nevada. For those who prefer regular skiing or snowboarding there are currently 30.5 km of runs available…

THE river park in Fuengirola has become a place for sports. The new municipal canoeing school exhibited the sport with participants from different clubs taking to the water in canoes and kayaks. The canal at the mouth of the Fuengirola river has only recently been opened and the canoeing school was set up shortly afterwards.

Watersport

Children aged seven and up took part in canoeing and swimming courses this week in the Garrucha sea.  The courses were run by the town hall as part of their summer sports and cultural programme.
