FOLK melodic singing shows known as ‘zarzuela’ were performed live at the Cervantes Theatre in Malaga. The local artistic group Teatro Lírico Andaluz performed a double bill of this theatrical singing expression, slightly similar to opera, which was originated in the suburbs of Madrid centuries ago.
