AN ELDERLY unidentified man found near the famous Tajo gorge in Ronda is thought by police to have committed suicide.
At first the body was thought to be that of an 86-year-old missing in the area, but his son later confirmed it was not his father.
Meanwhile, the body of a 65-year-old man missing from El Cristo beach in Estepona has been found 10 kilometres along the coast at Cabo Bermejo.
The man went for a swim at around 5pm, but his wife did not alert the police until early the following morning. She saw him go into the water, but as he was an excellent swimmer, thought he may have later gone for a walk.
An autopsy examination is to be carried out to determine cause of death.
