THE woman who was allegedly thrown from a third floor balcony in Marbella by her partner has now left the Intensive Care Unit. She remains in a ward at Carlos Haya Hospital in Malaga.
The victim, a 35-year-old Romanian citizen, told the emergency services when they were transferring her to hospital that her partner had thrown her from the balcony of their home in the Nueva Andalucia district. Her partner was remanded in prison without bail by the Women’s Domestic Violence Court in Marbella, and is initially waiting to be charged with attempted manslaughter. The 43-year-old Moroccan man has no previous gender violence accusations.
