A NEW programme for people with sight difficulties is about to begin. The ‘Lend me your Eyes’ will begin again following the summer in the Municipal Library, Torrevieja, next Monday, at 7pm with the organisers keen to hear from people able to read - in both English and Spanish - to those less fortunate who cannot do so themselves.
The programme organisers are also in talks with the Marina International, as a sponsor. ‘Lend me your Eyes’ is designed to bring reading to the homes of those who through age or disease, cannot read for themselves.
