ISSUES affecting Benidorm taxis and their drivers were discussed in a meeting called by Mobility councillor, Maria de Carmen Martinez. Also in attendance were Traffic Chief of Local Police, Pedro Moya, and representatives from the taxi sector.
They discussed ways that taxi drivers and Local Police can work together, and regulations that apply to the service, as well as how to prevent unlicensed drivers from offering taxi services. Councillor Martinez expressed her availability to help in resolving any existing problems as well as those that may come up in the future.
