Intrigued, we went to meet, Melchior, Caspar and Balthasar, who after seeing our interview with Santa, wanted to have their say.

ANNETTE SAHLERTZ DE FERNANDEZ is the Vice-Consul for Denmark in Malaga. Born in Odense, home to universally know writer Hans Christian Andersen, she has lived in Spain for over 30 years marrying a Spanish man with whom she has two children. Before coming to Spain she lived and studied in Basilea, Switzerland, where she worked for years in an international firm as a secretary and correspondent later working in aviation in both Denmark and Spain.

Dave Arnott is the Sales Team Leader at the Marriott Vacation Club International, where he has been for the last four years. He started as a sales executive and then went to Paris for three months to return to the island as Sales Team Leader. He has a staff of about ten people on his sales team, but together with his other responsibilities, he is ultimately responsible for a sales force of 40 people of all different nationalities.

AS I sat and waited for Jennifer to arrive, I couldn’t help but notice one of the staff at her Benijofar branch of Jennifer Cunningham y Asociados, who was helping an elderly British couple with some information regarding their car insurance. Her tact and helpfulness was refreshing, and without pushing one of their policies she seemed more intent on actually helping the gentle old lady make head or tail of her existing policy.

His mother, Dawn Stafford, is a poet living in San Pedro de Alcantara who has been here for the past forty years. Cristina Perello is what is known on the island of Mallorca as ‘half and half’, meaning she is half Spanish and half English. Her father is Spanish and her mother is from England, but she, together with her twin sister was born, brought up and educated in Mallorca.
