Judges, like everyone else, can have their personal views. What they CANNOT do is impose them above the law.

Their precise role is to carry out the law of the land as put forward by those democratically elected.

She is NOONE to go against the sovereign will of the people. She should either resign if she has a prickly conscience (if she's depriving others of their rights on the basis of how strongly she feels, the presumption is that this is a major personal issue for her and so therefore what she really ought to do is give up work) or just accept that, as a judge, she is merely a servant of the law.
