F1 –Sunday’s F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone was won by Spain’s Fernando Alonso. Championship leader (by 80 points right now) Sebastian Vettel was second (after a crew error in the pits), with Mark Webber third and Lewis Hamilton fourth.
TENNIS – Novak Djokovic and Petra Kvitova claimed the men’s and women’s singles titles at the end of an exciting Wimbledon fortnight.
