In Spain we have children’s charities, animal charities by the kennel load, homeless charities and paper collection charities but only one Samaritans. Modelled on the now 50 year old UK Samaritans, they are always available to help the emotionally distressed.
Rumours persist that a Costa Blanca Charity is accused by their staff of ill treatment and causing prolonged suffering by putting animals down with unsuitable muscle relaxants. So I went to see how other charities operate.
