Carboneras architecture improved

CARBONERAS - MEMBERS of Carboneras Town Hall recently attended the inauguration of the area surrounding the San Andres Castle and the Glorieta square, accompanied by the hundreds of local residents. The improvement of this area cost 1.3 million euros and has been possible thanks to the central government’s Plan E and promoted by the council.

CARBONERAS - MEMBERS of Carboneras Town Hall recently attended the inauguration of the area surrounding the San Andres Castle and the Glorieta square, accompanied by the hundreds of local residents. The improvement of this area cost 1.3 million euros and has been possible thanks to the central government’s Plan E and promoted by the council.

The streets in the historical centre have been improved and the main project was the Glorieta square which has been designed to recreate one of the old roundabouts which have existed in the area since the beginning of the twentieth century, but with modern designs and materials.
