LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles coroner’s office has confirmed that actor Corey Haim has died aged 38. A spokeswoman said he passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning at St Joseph Medical Centre in California.
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles coroner’s office has confirmed that actor Corey Haim has died aged 38. A spokeswoman said he passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning at St Joseph Medical Centre in California.
He was apparently found unconscious at an apartment that he shared with his mother after a suspected drugs overdose. Haim had battled with a drugs problem for a number of years and had undergone rehab.
The teen heartthrob will be best remembered for the hit eighties film “The Lost Boys” where he played alongside Keifer Sutherland about a group of friends who battle teenage vampires.
A post mortem is due to be carried out to find out the exact cause of death.
