Children ‘mistreated’ at summer camp, court hears

A COURT is investigating whether children, aged between eight and 16, who attended a summer camp, were subjected to abuse.
Parents from Benidorm whose kids went to the camp in Tarazona (Zaragoza province) organised by the town hall have complained that their children were forced to eat food they did not like, subjected to inappropriate jokes and made to walk for unfeasible distances.
Mums and dads say their children ‘had a terrible time’ at the camp last year and instructors and parents have been called to give statements in the youth court of Zaragoza.
In the meantime, the three camp instructors have been suspended from their duties.
