Turre opts for the bilingual route

TURRE Town Council voted last week in favour of taking the necessary steps to ensure that the town’s new school is fully equipped to be bilingual in Spanish and English.
The move is seen as something the town will benefit from, given that a large proportion of its residents are British, and it will also allow the local school system to be seen to be attempting to meet  the national Ministry of Education’s target of closing the gap in foreign language skills between Spain and the rest of Europe.
