New bus service for Marbella to Maria Zambrano station

THE Mayor of Marbella, Angeles Muñoz and the general director of Grupo Avanza, Jesus Lopez, recently presented the new bus service planned to cover the route between Marbella and the Maria Zambrano train station in Malaga.
The bus route will have four return journeys a day adding to the other 12 bus services currently running to Malaga.
The mayor said that there is still much to be done to improve the transport service of the city but they are progressing.
There has been a total of 15,000 euros invested on improvements such as a new electric information panel, the operation of the sound system plus the cleaning and painting of the terminal. Furthermore, the council has carried out work improvements on the tarmac as well as on road signs around the station.
The director explained that the new service consists of 33 seats and has all the necessary comforts for passengers to enjoy their journey. Finally, he announced that there will also be special discounts such as unlimited journeys for monthly tickets. The cost for a single ticket will be 6.90 euros.
